Stumbled upon this recipe in my daily food-blog-checking. Corn isn’t one of my favorite things. I don’t hate it or anything, but when I’m cooking, I don’t usually think “Ah, corn would be great in/with this!”, and I tend to prefer it in things like corn and crab chowder. Ok, so, I’ve never had Phnom Penh soup before, so maybe this is how it’s supposed to taste? If it is, I think I’ll pass. Water. Water with noodles, and tiny little balls of… something. No real flavor. I dunno, maybe you’re supposed to add stuff to it like Pho, but as is, it did not impress.
