We spent quite a while trying to figure out what to have for dinner tonight, and we finally wound up deciding to use some Trader Joe’s pizza dough that we had in the fridge… I’m pretty picky about my homemade pizza dough, and recently found what I consider to be “the perfect recipe”, but it takes 24 hours, and this takes 20 minutes. I made a pretty standard Pizza Margherita, but added some sliced prosciutto. Just a bit. The crust actually wound up being very good. Not quite as good as my recipe, but pretty close – and much easier.

Would you share the pizza dough recipe?
Oh, I’m sorry! I had meant to go back and edit it in once I dug up the URL, but I forgot. The recipe is here

It really benefits from a pizza stone, but the 2 tricks are that the dough absolutley needs to cure overnight, and that when you cook it, you need to turn your oven up as high as it will go.
Here’s a couple pictures from the last time I made it. The recipe makes a pretty big batch, but it freezes very well.
