My fiancee and I stopped in to Lamberti’s Italian Grill and Bar (Formerly Lamberti’s Cucina) on Philadelphia Pike in North Wilmington recently. Last year they remodeled their bar area, and with it brought in a new “tapas” menu. Their tapas menu is mostly smaller portions of regular items on their dinner menu, but that actually works great for me. This time, we had a few Shrimp Lejon. My fiancee loves them – so we usually wind up with a couple every time we stop in. For my main course, I had their tapas portion of the Filet Mignon with Gorgonzola. The portion size was perfect. At most restaurants, I’m left with the choice of either bringing half of my meal home and having it waste away in the fridge, or stuffing myself to the gills. This way, I got exactly enough, and didn’t wind up paying for a bunch of food that I don’t really want. $14 for the Tapas Filet – pretty good deal.
We stop in pretty regularly, and I have a few more photos from times I’ve been there that I just haven’t got around to uploading yet, so expect to see more!

Honestly the presentation of the shrimps it’s awful.
They don’t look appetizing at all.
This place it’s way over rated and over priced
I’m not a huge fan of the shrimp, myself. My fiancee loves them – but at $3 a pop, I don’t find them to be worth it. I do like their “tapas” portion of Sea Bass though. I’ve had it a few times now, and have been happy every time.
I live just a few blocks away from Lamberti’s, so they get a few points from me for convenience as well.
